What is unsecured business funding, in plain terms?
Most business loans are "secured" — the lender holds your property, equipment, or other assets as a backstop. Unsecured funding skips that. Approval is based mainly on your personal credit and income, so you don't have to put your house, building, or equipment on the line to get capital.
We offer two unsecured programs, and many owners use both together:
- 5 or 7 year term loans — a lump sum with a fixed monthly payment.
- Business credit card program — revolving credit with 0% interest for 6–12 months.
How do the 5 or 7 year unsecured term loans work?
You receive the full loan amount at funding and repay it with a fixed monthly payment over 5 or 7 years. Highlights:
- Rates from 9–15%, depending on the strength of your personal credit
- No minimum time in business — startups welcome
- No upfront fees and no down payment
- No assets or collateral required
- Funding in 7–15 business days
- No prepayment penalty — pay it off early anytime
Requirements: 680+ personal credit scores on all 3 bureaus, and 2 years of personal tax returns showing $50,000 or more in taxable income.
How does the business credit card program work?
This program sets your business up with business credit cards that carry 0% interest for 6–12 months — giving you breathing room to invest in the business before interest kicks in. Highlights:
- 0% interest for 6–12 months
- No minimum time in business
- Stated income — no tax returns required
- No upfront fees
- Reports only to the business — helps build business credit without adding to your personal credit report balances
Requirements: 700+ personal credit scores on all 3 bureaus, and an established business entity (LLC, corporation, etc.).
Who is unsecured funding a good fit for?
Unsecured funding is built for owners with strong personal credit who need capital fast — without pledging collateral. It's a strong fit for:
- New businesses that can't yet qualify for bank or SBA loans because of time in business
- Owners who don't want to tie up real estate or equipment as collateral
- Businesses needing working capital for marketing, hiring, inventory, or expansion
- Entrepreneurs who want to build business credit separate from their personal credit
How does the process work?
It's three simple steps:
- Apply — a short application takes just a few minutes. Start here.
- Consult — Anthony or a member of our team reviews your credit and goals, and matches you to the right program (or both).
- Funded — term loans typically fund in 7–15 business days.

Unsecured Term Loan vs. Business Line of Credit vs. Equipment Financing
An unsecured term loan fits a one-time need — a lump sum with a fixed payment and no collateral. A business line of credit fits recurring cash-flow gaps where you draw and repay as needed. Equipment financing uses the equipment itself as collateral and can reach larger amounts. If you're buying real estate or a business, SBA 7(a) loans or our small balance loan program may be a better fit.

There's no minimum time in business for either program — new businesses can qualify.
How fast can I get funded?
Unsecured term loans typically fund in 7–15 business days after approval.
